Does that have two 'p's?'
Anyway... I have a Peavy XL Supreme head and a Vox AC50CP2H head... I want to run them in stereo with my stereo effects. (Boss CE-5, Boss DD-6)... Easy right?
The trick is, how do I do it while utilizing the effects loops of BOTH amps? I prefer the way that the chorus and delay sound through there but how do I go about doing it?
One scenario I've been told: Run the FX Send from the PV to the CE-5, then, just complete the loop to the DD-6 back to the amp. While, taking the send from the VOX and putting it in the second input of the DD-6. And from the second output, run that back the VOX to complete the loop.
Would this work? As I said, I want to at least keep the stereo delay.

Aug 22, 2008 07:50 pm Ya, it would work. But you are going to have to completely different tones coming out for the finished sound from the DD-6.
One thing to think about as well is the fact that this could also cause a ground loop if the heads are not grounded together or exactly the same.
Using the FX loop won't damage anything if I am thinking correctly.
Aug 22, 2008 08:16 pm OKay... So basically, since I'm running two tones from different amps to one location (the DD-6) it will be combining those two signals? Or will it pass the signals through it as two separate signals?

Aug 22, 2008 10:35 pm It will be true stereo as that is what the pedal is for. It should not combine the two signals unless you are using the panning portion of it.
If yo avoid that part it will pass the signal's through as 2 separate signal's.

This means, I might have the sound I want after all. :)
