Sonar Le missing plugins ?

Hi I am a new user of Sonat Le, but used Pro Audio for a long time. Since loading, it appears to have not loaded the plug-ins...Session Drummer, Real Audio Decoder etc and what does come up appears to be old FX graphic interfaces, not the new ones (compressor, reverb etc)....If I run VST adaptor it tells me no plug-ins were found....Anyone have any suggestions?

Welcome to HRC first off.

And the Real Audio Decoder is not a pluggin. That is simply a decoder to allow use or export of Real Audio format files.

I am pretty sure that most of the pluggins supplied with Sonar LE are DX type pluggins and not VST so that might answer that part.

I assume you got this version with an audio interface??

IF so that would explain why there are no VST pluggins. Most of them pair it down to the bare minimum as it is just kind of a toss in when they bundle it like that.

It should have come with 2 software synths and I believe maybee 14 effects. But yes, the interfaces have remained the same for several years on some of the DX pluggins. No need to change what works I guess.

Take a look and see what effects you have and post them here. I can let you know if that is all of them or not.
