Hopefully this is in the right place but im computer stupid when it comes to this stuff so any help would be appreciated.

- I am trying to record on Sonar Le that I got from my Inspire fire wire computer recording system, but when i record vocals or play an audio track i get a clicking sound. I have no idea why it would be doing this so i have no clue where to start looking on how to fix it.

Thanks.

Jay

Check the gain on your input of the channel that you are getting the audio from. See if it is clipping. That's the biggest purpose of the clicking sound.

Also, what PC/Mac are you using. What are the specs you are recording on? I think the Inspire can do a little higher sample rate, so check that in the properties tab of the interface...(Err.. I think it's on the main face of the inter"face") And be sure it says 44.1/16 bit with a LOW buffer rate.

Another thing to look at is if the metronome is turned on and how it is routed.
