its been a while, i see the board is going well, i hope everyone on it been well too, ive been busy working part time in a studio back home (trinidad) and other things, plus things been kinda rough, my grampa who i was very close with died.......right now im on a vacation in NY, brooklyn....since the last time ive been on here i got some new gear, a Layla3g, im so happy with it one of the best sound cards i heard so far. AT4040 mic .... and while i was up here i built a new quad core pc (no more freezing tracks lol), got a ovation cc28 (i love it), akai mpk49 midi controller (i was originally going for the maudio axiom or the new edirol but once i got to the store and actually tried them out the akai had the best action for me and felt more "pro", i to pay extra for that feel tho) and a line6 toneport gx, this is my first line6 product and im really impressed so far (lots of good effects, near zero latency monitoring while wet, for $50, was a good buy imo) , cant wait till i get home to try it on my electric....will upload samples once i get time to work on my own stuff when i get home
