I have a Behringer C1 mic plugged into a Behringer UBB1002 mixer. The Main Output on the mixer goes into the input on the soundcard. The FX Send goes to the output on the soundcard. I can heard the mic when I have my headphones plugged into the mixer, AND on my computer speakers (which are plugged into the line out on the soundcard). However, when I try to record in Audacity or Cakewalk Sonar (Producer Edition), the microphone is not recognized and nothing is recorded (despite that I heard the sound coming from the headphones and the speakers). Any ideas?

Jul 20, 2008 09:18 pm Well, first off you need to set up the tracks in Sonar to use the sound card, what ever it is you are using.
I suggest going to the tabs up top and hitting options/audio and then the drivers tab which will allow you to set up the correct sound card drivers to be used in Sonar. Then in the track view click on the input section and choose the correct sound card input and your good to go.
Jul 25, 2008 07:11 pm Thanks! I was able to get the mic to be recognized by choosing the soundcard - d'oh!
However despite the fact that I turned up the gain and volume on the mixer (on the mic's channel) as well as on the PC, it still records pretty low. I know it's a very sensitive mic so this isn't typical. Any ideas?
Thanks a bunch!
