Just a little jam to get some recording time in. Its called "Worm Hole". Kind of simple, but fun. Was done in a few hours, so I didnt have much time to mix it. Let me know what it needs. I think the bass drum and snare are too loud. But it may be Im tired. Here is the link.

Drum levels sound about right to me on my speakers. Sounds good, I think you might do a bit more melody wise prior to the solo work coming in unless of course you plan to add lyrics/vox. Mix sounds nice and full, really like the bass sound works well for the song.

I'm envious of your drum sound.

Overall very good song. Simple, yes, but good. Well put together, all the sounds used are very nice. Kind of reminds me of the melvins meets sonic youth. So, ya know, pretty decent ;)

The rythem guitar amp is actually a Peavey Stereo Chorus. Its older than dirt and of course is solid state. I actually used two mics on it with the built in chorus turned on (not much effect). I had never used that amp before to record and said what the hell. The tone is kind of scooped and does have that early 80's built in distortion(harsh), that alot of amps in that era had. But that amp sounds amazing on clean, and works very well with electric acoustics. The bass guitar is ran through my Boss GT8 (I used some crunch/chorus preset) then into my mixer. I know they have a Boss GT for bass guitars and said what the heck, I'll try the guitar one. Im gonna explore that more. The lead guitars and harmonic sounds were the GT8. Drums, Im off at points. I get to worried about timing when I play them. I need to loosen up on the drums. But Im still learning them. Its another little jam to build on at some point. "Olddog", I just may need to put lyrics to it. Thanks for the listen

Nice, Loki is a Melvins fan. Houdini is some solid stuff.

I also like this song, very basic but powerfull and catchy. With some vocals it would be that much better. Get to it :)

Sweet, Loki is a not only a Melvins fan but a Sonic Youth fan as well.

But ya, Bushmaster, the tune is pretty dang cool indeed. I did like the guitars as well as the drum's.

Can't wait to hear were this goes.
