I have $1500 in cash. Right now, my setup is:

Macbook Pro, Mbox2, midi controller, reason 4. I need some phat sounds other than what I have using reason. I am thinking about getting a keyboard.
Question: What keyboard for my price range do you think is a good keyboard that will have me busy for another 6 months, when I am ready to add another piece of equipment.

Thanks in advance for your replies!!!!

I'd look at a Motif ES Rack. Plug your midi controller into it, and enjoy.

The real motif (w/ keyboard) are mucho more, so that's why I bring up the rack unit.

Also, if you already have a decent controller I would look at some of the software instruments from Native Instruments.

www.nativeinstruments.com

I use many of their software synthe's and samplers and they are far and above the rest for the most part.

A kit called Massive would keep you busy for years in reality.
