My wife has been wanting this and I must admit I loved MK on the super nintendo.
Anyway I picked it up yesterday and also bought a second steering wheel, it was about $63 total purchase.
This game is awesome, I was playing the single player and having a blast. Then my singer stopped by and we did some split screen races.
It supports 4 players local and also lets you do a two playewr split and join online games. I was racing against 12 other yahoos from across the US and Brazil (it shows everybodys location on a map as it introduces them) and must say it was just a blast.
I have been second guessing the Wii since purchase (Wii sports is cool, but not $250 cool) and I now finally have a game that makes it seem worthwhile.

Jun 25, 2008 12:39 pm Hah, too true, I have heard the gun in that game is just amazing and was reviewed as the best shooter controls in a game.
Yeah, the wheel is just crazy fun. It took me awhile to quit waving my arms around like mad and actually just turn the wheel :)

Jun 26, 2008 01:10 pm Haha BM, that is a bummer. Me and my neighbor played the split screen online last night until midnight. We actually had to force ourselves off of it to get some sleep for work.
Jun 27, 2008 08:09 pm I tried mario kart wii, but I didn't get to use the driver wheel, i had to use some old school controller (looked like the gamecube controller). It sucked. I used to go hard on mario kart on the super nes back as a freshman in college. wow that was a long time ago...
I'm actually digging wii tennis though.
