Need some cheap monitors

All I need are some examples of the CHEAPEST active studio monitors available.

The only criteria is that it

1. Makes sound
2. Is ACCURATE.

I can buy a cheap set of 2.1 speakers for $30, but there's no point because it won't sound like my actual recordings do. Up until now I've been using headphones, but whenever I take my recordings to my guitar teacher's house, everything sounds off.

So I'm just looking for some monitors (or even consumer speakers) that are ACCURATE.

Thanks.

www.zzounds.com...m--SAMRESOLV65A are nice. I have the smaller set and they are pretty decent for a decent price.

This might be a smug answer, but i think someone will throw it in sooner or later. But u can really get any speakers and practice your ears and technique. I once knew a kid who used pretty standard headphones (the kind that came with walkmans back in the 80s) and he totally blew my mixes on monitors away.

If you can just spend some time listening to a song u like with some good monitors, say during a studio session, pick it a part and translate that to what you hear on ur speakers... could save u the money u dont have to spend at the moment.

just a suggestion

I also suggest the BX5a that I have. But, definitley get some MoPads to go under them.

But, also remember, a good mixing environment is just as important as what you're mixing through.
