Hello to all !

I have an AKG perception 120 mic and I am looking for the proper shock mount to fit it.
Is there such thing as a proper shock mount or are they pretty much close ?
Anything I should avoid ?

Any info would be greatly appreciated !!!!

Many thanks... ( total newb )

Well, I tried the AKG site and it is so slow loading right now I didn't want to wait around. But you can give it a shot here.

www.akg.com and then choose the Professional Audio link and then choose the perception 120 link. I would be guessing they have a shock mount for it as it is a condenser. But I am not absolutely certain on that.

IF I get time and the site responds quicker I will have a look as well.

I would imagine though that someplace like Guitar Center might have a generic shock mount for it.

But yes, a shock mount with a condenser is a very good idea as they are a much more responsive mic and will pick up a lot more stuff.

I called a guy at guitarcenter.com a few moments ago and he was like, "uhm...like any will just about work."
The lax manner in which he spoke kinda gave me pause about taking him serious and being knowledgable.

Thanks for your feedback man.
I always like to check in here first.
