Microkorg + Cubase 4 - only works as MIDI controller

I'd like to think I'm relatively techno-savvy but I can't figure this out.

Using M-Audio Delta 1010LT card. Got the card's MIDI out to MK MIDI in. Using a 1/4" to RCA converter and going from MK L/Mono out to Delta IN 3.

I can hear the MK through the monitors, and levels are showing in the Delta mixer...but in Cubase nothing happens. I created an audio track, chose Mono In 3 for input and Stereo for output. No levels registered, no sound. I've switched between channels and all the rest of it.

Thanks for your help!!!!

I'm a bit confused. Are you trying to record the midi off the synth, or are you trying to record the audio from the synths?

Loki,

Thanks for the response. I'm trying to record audio from the synth. Like I said i can hear it through the monitors, and can see levels in the Delta 1010LT mixer (under IN 3) but choosing Mono In 3 in Cubase doesn't show any levels and of course if I record something and play it back it's silence. I know I must be doing something wrong in Cubase, but can't figure out what. I can take some screen caps of my Cubase setup when I get home.

Do you have the delta set up properly in the device manager? If so, then go to your connections manager and make sure you have the delta set as the ins and outs.

In cubase that is.
