Hey money, welcome to HRC.

There may be a 'monitor' button, that tells C-LE to send the incoming signal out to the outputs. This isn't always what you want, so they may give you the option to turn it on or off.

Reaper does, so maybe CLE does as well.

Tell us what equip you have / using, and how it's connected, as Quote:

tells us very little about your setup, or how things are connected.

When you arm your tracks to record, are you also setting them to be monitored?

Should have your headphones plugged into the FW mixer, at the phones jack.

Then on the front of the mixer, there's a monitor sections, so you should be able to select how you monitor (computer, inputs, both). Play around with those, I bet that's what needs to be changed.

In LE4 here is a monitor button (looks like a speaker)on each track in the project screen. The monitor button has to be on to hear the track while you are recording it.
