I have Cubase LE4 and Personus - I am able to record as many tracks as I want so no problem there.
But I do have two questions that I need to have answered:
1. I set the metronome, but I do not get the expected clicking sound in my headphones.
2. I want to export the recording into a .wav file, but I cannot seem to get past the File\Export\audio mixdown. If I tell it to send one track at a time, it seems to think that is what it is doing - but there is nothing in the resulting file. What I want is to send out all the tracks together.
Is anyone out there exporting recordings into .wav files. If so can you send me the steps.
Thank you.

May 26, 2008 09:05 pm Is your metronome set up properly in the device manager?
exporting to wave file is pretty simple in cubase, just set your indicators and make sure nothings armed.

May 27, 2008 09:52 am make sure you have the left and right locaters set up. (the slide at the top, used for looping)
the whole song needs to be within those before exporting.
What Loki said.

May 27, 2008 07:51 pm Thank you so much for all your advice. I have had another look and I must be missing something really simple. Here's the scoop.
I have a song recorded - 6 tracks consisting of 3 vocals, 1 5-string banjo, a guitar and a bass. When I go to export it I do exactly the following:
File\Export\Audiomixdown\ I give it the filename, the path, the file format as .wav. It is when I get to the Audio Engine Output that I don't know what to do - so I don't do anything. I click export and it sends something out because it shows up as a file that is 12.6 MB,and the correct name. But when I go to listen to it there is nothing there.
Anybody know what I'm missing?
Thanks.

May 27, 2008 08:01 pm the locators are the little flags at the top above track 1.

pretty easy to find in there.
