OK. I just realised where the opening line "I'm in heaven" comes from in this song. I was under "extreme" inspiration from Louis Armstrong's cheek to cheek. Beyond the first line, the song comes into its own and is no longer outright plagiarism. Actually I like to think of it as tipping my hat to the master himself.

Anyway let me know if this is plagiarism. Also, the bane of my life- mixing. Any comments on the mix welcome. Song is "I'm in heaven" @

Well I'm honestly no expert on plagiarism but I don't think it would be. Although there are some cases were something similar to another song only for a few notes was considered that. But I really don't see it here.

On the mix itself. Well as with the rest of your tunes I can't really find anything to gripe about. It is a very nicely put together melody and the lyrics are very interesting. I liked the way the distorted guitar comes in for the chorus at a very subdued level yet it is very distinct sounding and present without being over bearing.

I really enjoyed the percussion on this one and the added horn section and such. It really added nicely to it. Lots of interesting elements that keep it moving along very nicely.
