Where do illegal immigrants get off "demands" any damn thing?

WTF? Sounds like a great opportunity to sweep them up and ship them back home.

Well, I highly doubt it is the illegals who will be marching in these protests...

I think the illegal immigrants don't really make demands, activists make demands. The illegal immigrants just hope the demands come to fruition.

But this is obviously all conjecture, I don't actually know any illegal immigrants currently.

Good point...that said, I am sure a lot of illegals will be there too, but still, you have a good point about the activists...gotta have something to ***** about...

Again, reminds me of the classic b-movie PCU with Jeremy Piven and David Spade.

As a legal immigrant, this kind of thing does pi$$ me off a lot.

I paid a lot of legal fees, and sat through a lot of meetings, and spent a lot of time in queues at the INS (before it was "Homeland Security")and have been an upright member of society. Why can't they?

I didn't come here to start demanding my rights and priviledges as some do. When they were sneaking over the border did it occur to them, "I'm doing something illegal"? Yes, so they should really be glad they are not locked up. You don't like the "rights" you have as an illegal? Well, you have choices. Do the paperwork, or go back.

This country was forged by immigrants, but the "rights" should be reserved for those who are legal. This is the land of opportunity when it's done properly.

Rant over. I'm no bigot. I just want to have a level playing field.

my only thought is, most illegals even if they wanted to do it the legal way, would never get the chance to come. So, they do what they feel they have to do in order to make a living (i'm assuming that's why most come). They are most likely desperate and looking for a way.

I'm not saying you're not entitled to your feelings TC, I'm just saying there are other viewpoints that may be valid as well.

Yeah, but at the same time they are still breaking the law and entitled to no rights of the law abiding citizenship...no rights beyond the most basic human rights...

Studys are showing, and I am not talking the el toro pooopooo statistics that can support anything with manipulation, that if the rate illegal immigration continues this country will be another Mexico. What nobody seems to understand in our government is the balance of production and production capacity. We are seeing the effects of diminished production capacity right now as the purchasing power of the american diminishes further diminishing production, and obviously creating a snow ball effect. Where in the hell these activists think the production is going to come from to support what they are trying to give away beats me. In the past this country has been amoung the best per accepting peoples into it's bourders while continuing to remain strong enough to do the same tomorrow. This was done by understanding constraints per production capacity. Our government seems to have lost the capacity to understand that balance and it is scary.

i dont know the exact story you guys have over there, but in all seriousness though, i think alot of Immies are ignorant and lack respect in regards to the laws in general.

obviously im not going to mention any particular race of immigrant but there are a few that come to mind.

Having said that by no means am i racist just voicing my observations.

Western society can afford to be tougher on things.

Oh hell, might as well have out with another resentment. Deon, this is not aimed at you, you just got lucky and brought it up.

This liberalist, good-speek, politicaly correct crap is just that crap! This is to include the good-speak definitions of racist and predjudice. There is nothing racist or prejudice about recognizing that many countries have gotton themselves into one hell of a fix, to include Mexico. Not speaking about these conditions for fear of being labled is simply and injustice, and speaks to lack of personal responsibility. It is a damn shame, but that does not a reason to smoke dope and ignore the problem. Again I will site the activists and those within our government who are of like thinking.

I work with H1B visas every day. Engineers from India who are here only because they can fill a position that we can not fill with our indiginous popluation. That is a far cry from letting in a bunch of dope smuggling gang bangers.

Oh, let them stay, they will become like us over time. HORSE ****! As many of us will become like them as them become like us. The one thing that does not change with a geographical change is the person moved! We arn't offering these people any reasonable chance at a new life beyond a larger monitary bucket to sit in.

We have or maybe had something here in America worth protecting in terms of a way of life. That was the postulate of the origional conception. I don't give a damn if they are white, brown, yellow, black, or friggin gray. If the conduct themselves outside of the constraints that promote our way of life they need to go! Tell me the difference between the Crypts and the radical Hesbala tribe. You can site motivation, but their actions are the same. Russian Mafia, Italian Mafia, Biker gangs (oh yes, I am siting our beloved modern cowboys), So called ethnic gangs, radical religious gangs (no mistake there using the word gangs) are all terrorists in this country.

Refusing to address these factions under the guise of being politicaly correct is only condoning their way of life. If that is what the American people want today, I am ready to become something other than American.

It took some balls to build this country and I am damn tired of liberilists that are bound and determined to nuter this country.

I am so tired of the "start a bogus war" B.S...it's a load. The world is better off without Saddam, and arguing that would be foolish. The money spent is insane, and it would have likely been over years ago if capital hill would let the military fight the war the way it needed to be fought instead of telling them how to run it from their cushy seats.

The liberal agenda has destroyed anything resembling personal responsibility, destroyed anything resembling the slightest masculinity...it's pathetic what my kids are being taught in the public schools in some cases...

Noone will convince me the intent of Bush and cheney was to rid the world of saddam. Its great hes gone but unless those people start a revolution with high numbers, someone will just take saddams place. thats their deal not ours. When you have a VP who was the former CEO of one of the largest contractors in the world, who just so happens to be making large coin on this WAR. it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that one out, its funny how conservatives will refute those facts.

I think I have a text limit on this field so I'll spare the list of facts that liberals seem to ignore...

Make sure the strap on your tinfoil hat is tight so it stays on.

...sheesh...

lets hear your facts?

WMDs? LOL

give me a break if it was a democratic president who started this war under the same circumstances you would be outraged and thats a FACT.

id rather spend 500 billion on finding and killing osama than fatting up halliburton and taking out saddam any day of the week. Unfortunately our government didnt see it that way.

You have no business telling me what would outrage me...as you have no idea other than what I have said here. You're the one raging.

Face it, both sides have issues, and either side will exploit those of the other, if you really, honestly think the liberal side of politics is 100% right and has no hypocrisy, spin or alterior motives to their views I am surprised you are intelligent enough to type into the forum...

I mean seriously, the Clinton's are two of the most horrible human being on the planet, exploiting people for money and screwing people...give me a break. Al Gore getting "famous" with bogus claims and false science, John Edwards making millions with bogus, emotion-driven spin with no scientific fact while destroying honest, hardworking medical professionals for his own gain...then there is the pushing of this stupid e85 crap...argh, what a farce...save the planet by using light bulbs with mercury in it...use hybrid cars that have energy cells that are toxic and hard to dispose of...yeah...

Yeah, running with loads of great people on the left there, tough guy.

What the flock happened to the people of this country? Maybe good-speek has already rotted the minds of people to the point of being incapable of independant thought. Bush is no conseritive. He is self seeking constituate of the oil industry. Hillary is no liberilist. She is a self seeking sociopath. Get the hell out of the box your government allows you to think in. Now there is predjudice. Because he or she adpots the label of liberal or conserative, we know all there is to know about them. Back to work, smoke dope, happy day.

I am dee good guy can you not see my white turbin?

The less angry and argumentitive society becomes due to political correctness the easier it is to control the situation and exploit.

eg: if you, the citizen, that is, easy to control, pay your taxes, obey the rules, gets a ticket and doesnt pay it on time..they are all over your *** like a rash, because you WILL eventually pay it and you'll do it without much fuss if any, and they know that.
but its a different story when a citizen of a minority gets in the ****, they get let off. for whatever reason they come up with.
because the government is scared of the racist tag.
over here if they want something, all they gotta do is apply for it and they get it, for FREE!
they use their situation to get what they want while ol John Citizen gets rogered for not paying his ticket on time. where's my 2% home loan etc etc.
You know why? because we are funding the whole thing. the government sure as hell aint gonna spend their hard earned surplus money. which is also from us.

the goverment here atm has a record surplus of cash and they hold onto it like its the last thing on earth!
wanna know where all the world's economy has gone? its probably here somewhere. Ha ha ha!

ungrateful pricks, without the citizens they are nothing.

You and I don't usually agree on stuff like this dan, but today we do. I live in texas, so I see the immigration thing day in day out. I see more signs in spanish and more mexican flags waving as I drive down the highway every day. In fact, I see more mexican flags than american flags.

I'm all for respecting and keeping your culture, but not at the expense of mine.

That and yeah, my family were immigrants. They came across from scottland, played by the rules, worked for everything they have, and now I'm here. I sympathize for those who are tying to get over here to have a better life... but there are legal means.

Some will say those means are too difficult... I guess getting a job is too difficult for meth cookers, so it should be excusable as well? It doesn't make sense.

If you're willing to work with me, I' willing to work with you, but if you think you're going to come over from anywhere, knowingly doing so illegally, and then start to demand your rights (whether it's the immigrants or activists), you're an idiot.

I've also always wondered why if we're having such a huge prolem (hell we're talkinga bout building a giant fence! You dont build those unless you got a problem), then why where there no deportations taking place at one of the many, many demand our rights rallies/protests going on last year?

Because PC is killing us.

Flip the bird, and it will still fly. But only if it has a right and and a left wing.

Sad. The bird's still full o' shiat. Don't stand under it.
