Hi. I dont know if this is the correct board to place this topic, but im doing it anyway.

Iv got a xenyx1204fx mixingboard with an UCA200 usb-input. I'v connected the boards output to the UCA200s input, and connected it to the computer. Iv also tried different drivers. The point is, Windows Vista names the device USB Audio CODEC, and when i try to test the microphone, nothing happens in the bar (witch should move when i speak). What is the problem?

Please hurry!

I can't speak for anybody else, but these sort of posts always piss me off...so I ignore them...it's just incredibly rude.

It is the best place, it's also good practice to have some manners and appreciate any time people spend helping you for free without being told to "hurry up" while doing it.

Patience is a virtue and appreciation is good manners.

Vista will unzip zip files all by itself...

After unzipping it, did you run the setup.exe? Did you uninstall the old drivers first, removing all registry entries for it as well? You shouldn't have to do that manually, but it sometimes helps.

Well, i have no old drivers loaded, so i just installed te 64-bit setup (setup98.exe) and it told me to reebot. I did so, but nothing ever happened. Want me to take some pics and upload?

One thing I see is that the microphone input is active but the Line Input which is were you have the mixer plugged into is not.

That is probably the problem right there. The mic is plugged into the mixer and the mixer is plugged into the line inputs. So you need to use them instead of mic.
