My neighbors are gonna hate me. Picked up a 5 peice acclaim drum set today, just need a high hat and I'll be set. It's good cause I suck at drums and don't realize they probably sound like trash lol.

Apr 18, 2008 07:55 pm Hahehaheh... You'll be great. Just find a cheap hi-hat stand, and mount two of the crashes on it. Close them for hat, and open them up for crashes. Don't forget to play the kick on the 2 and the 4. Tell your neighbors Herb said so.

Apr 18, 2008 10:18 pm well I am borrowing hi hat and better cymbol from a friend of mine, and that's all cool. So far my neighbors haven't had any complaints (They know i'm a musician, and I talk to them all the time when they're in the yard) they just asked me to keep it down after 10 so their daughter can sleep. I think I can do that.
I'm so glad I have neat neighbors.
