... I wonder if he was at the wheel of their bus when Stone Temple Pilots ran my band off the road a couple years ago...

...both of us were very late to our respective shows... I was heading up 33 though columbus to 'the other Logan' (logan county and logan city... both on opposite sides of columbus on the same road...) ... when a tour bus flys though traffic going about 90mph (I was going 80mph) and decides it wanted to be where I was... full sized bus vs. a very packed toyota tercel... I made good use of the shoulder...

I've been waiting for him to have another serious meltdown and it looks as though my wait is over. I've liked some of their stuff. I think he was an OK choice for the lead singer but they could have done better as I think Slash, Duff and Matt all get along and always have. It was Scott who stirred the pot.

I noticed the comment about getting Sebastian Bach to fill in. Now that would not be bad. A pretty sober guy these days and not a half bad singing voice either for the abuse he has put himself through.

Yep, Core was played to death here as well. The boyz really liked that when they were younger.

STP has never been really popular before in Europe

I'm a big fan of GN'R and in particular Izzy Stradlin but I never really liked a VR song either, always thought they sounded too much like STP and too little Slash :p Scott dismissed demos made with Izzy when VR started in 2002 because they sounded to classic rock and GN'R for him.

I hope someday we'll get to hear the Slash/Izzy/Duff combo again, Izzy's wanted heavily as the new frontman by lot's of people but that's not gonna happen. Hopefully the 2001/2002 recordings they did together will surface on iTunes one day since Izzy found that site last year as an alternative for labels who ain't interested in him (he only writes and records alot, no promo and touring).

He's the one who's released the most albums of all ex Gunners, but toured the least. The man doesn't give a **** about any promo and does things his own way

I dont really like VR much, I find them a bit cheesey. I thought their live cover of "Bodies" was pretty good though.

I really liked Gn'R "Appetite for Destruction"...other than that one album, I think they were very subpar...I heard that album and thought "man, these guys are going to be friggin great!"...and after that everything was one step lower than the previous, members were imploding, ego's exploding...it was sad.

I suppose, I didn't really like GnR so its no suprise that VR dont really float my boat. Thinking aobut it, the only reason I really like their version of Bodies is 'cos its just like the original and I like that.
I really like the Sex Pistols
