First song of the new project, School of the Toad. This song is an expiriment in certain techniques. Specific frequencies are used to alter listeners brain wave patterns, creating certain changes in consciousness. Most notable physiological effect thus far has been naseau. Other side effects seem to be trance like states, brief hallucinations, and happy ear drums.
Listen at your own risk ;)

Mar 28, 2008 01:16 pm Very weird. Listening on terrible laptop speakers so I can't really judge. Also, it didn't make me sick!
Perhaps som sub 15Hz type tones to get peoples guts involved.

Mar 28, 2008 01:18 pm Nah, that myth was busted TC.
Interesting to say the least. I didn't get sick either... maybe it's time to throw some subliminal messages in there?
Mar 28, 2008 01:19 pm You didn't play it backwards and hear "Loki is god"?

Mar 28, 2008 01:23 pm I played it backwards and heard a repeating message; "I am the gate keeper, are you the key master?" over and over and over.... I wonder what it means?

Mar 28, 2008 04:46 pm Dude... that's so going into the song somehow!
Actually we are tossing around the idea of singing in the enochian language, or throwing twisted up mantras as lyrics.
As for the sickness, we blame the alchohol.

Mar 29, 2008 02:34 pm Your song made me vomit!!!
(not because it was bad, but because the wavelengths told me to!)
Is that a cash register that comes in at 2:36?
And seriously, it made feel a little heavy in my front lobe- hard to explain the feeling.

Mar 29, 2008 10:21 pm OK, its late and I just got back so I'll be listening tomorrow. I can't wait to see if I hurl or something. I'm gonna intensify the effect by using headphones and keeping the monitors on at the same time. Maybe even crank up the PR15's just for added effect.
I'll let ya know what happens. :-)

Mar 30, 2008 08:12 pm Cool sounds but no ill effects here. Although I would not want to listen to more then 5 minutes of it while driving as I could see it relaxing one to the point of drifting off.
I liked the choice of sound though for sure. And I will give it a couple more tries to see what happens.
By the way, used headphones and monitors together and separately with no effect.

Apr 08, 2008 09:06 pm Ok guys... lol. While there are brainwaves involved they are mostly for trance/relaxation processes. The aseau has occured during the galloping sound after all the noise, but it's probably just coincidence because when we wrote it we were all drunk... that explain the naseau
Mostly just a ruse to get ya'll to listen ;)
