Cubasis problem....need help...

Hello recording gurus i have this problem with my cubasis VST program...i can't use my microphone jack plugged into my motherboard(using Audigy platinum Ex) for recording. I think i switch the inputs to the line in 2(external unit).......i hope what i describe makes some sense....

I'm sure it does, but I am not familiar with audigy. Cubasis I have played with a little. You probably already ensured that the in puts are turned on. Did you open the ASIO pannel from within Cubasis to see what Cubasis thinks it has for inputs? This may give you a lead on where the hitch is.

Creative does not ship the Audigy with ASIO driver's. You will need to go to a second party for them. I have a link around here somewhere for them. I will post it when I get a chance to look for it.
