Beginner Alesis Multimix8 help

Hi,

I'm fairly new to recording so please bare with me, this may well be a stupid question but I thought it best to check. I've just got an Alesis multimix8 mixer and a cheap behringer minicom800 compressor. I'm not sure how to connect them, but I imagine it has something to do with the Aux inputs.

Here are photos of the inputs I've got, if you could point out which leads need to go in where I'd be very greatful

Yes, the aux send goes to inputs of your compressor, the compressor outputs go to the return, then you use the associated aux knob to send channel signal to the device.
