Ok so, im trying to add a sub to my PA system. and im having a little trouble. Right now im having my Motu 8pre outputs going into channels 15 and 16 oh my Yamaha 16/6. Then i have the ST outputs on the yamaha going into my Power amp and then my Power amp into my Peavey 115's. I have a Behringer Bass Amp i want to add to this set up. So right now i have it just connected to a subgroup output and have the 15/16 channel playing through that. How do i Eq the Bass amp separate from the Peavey 115's? i want to have the Bass amp handle the lows while having the 115's handle low mids/mids and highs. So how do i cut the lows from the 115's without cutting it from the bassamp?

this reads very confusing, and well it is but anyhelp would be awesome.

i know i havent really been around a lot lately, ive been checking the site, just not replying.

thanks for any help you guys can give me..

You'll have to put a 2 way crossover in between the yamaha ST output and the power amp. Low output will go to the bass amp and the rest will go to the power amp and 15's.

If you didn't want to buy a crossover though, theres a few mucho budgo ways to do it.

1. If your bass amp has EQ, cut the lows on your Yamaha channel EQ, run the subgroup out to the amp and boost the bass and cut the highs till you're happy.

2. Run the subgroup out back into a channel line in, EQ out all the highs and take a post aux send to the bass amp. Don't assign it to the stereo buss though. EQ out the lows to your 15's.
