What'll I Do...latest digital recording

My New Year weekend work, four hours, very simple, two guitars, four passes at a vocal, edited best pieces out of each with just two small instances of doubletracking (to cover severe vocal deficiencies!)

A great old standard, deserving to be sung by a real singer, but since I am not and I wanted to record it I did it anyhow.

This was done on Audacity, btw, but I need to clean up the noise removal artifacts on the vocal track still (clearly heard after the end of the song). Then it will be in good shape.

This song is cool and well performed. Nicely done. My only issue is the panning of the guitars. Oh, and maybe when there are two voices at the same time, cut the highs out of the reverb a bit, or the highs out of the second vocals, a bit. But I like!

Thanks. I noticed upon further listening that the doubled vocals really were harsh, I thought from volume but I can see what you're saying. I will implement your suggestion, thanks much!

Nice version for sure. And no, it didn't make me not like it either. I think you did it justice.

Thanks.

I am going to reduce the highs on the doubled parts as suggested, good call, and get rid of the artifacts.

Then, by God, the next one will HAVE to be a real rocker!
