Well just for some background I'm running a couple condensors through a preamp into a Lexicon USB interface and recording in Cubase LE. I'm mostly recording guitar and bass, but I do a lot of heavy distorted guitar and I'm just wondering if there is an easy way to clear up some of that feedback and such. So any advice on getting some clearer tracks would be well appreciated!

What kind of feedback exactly? Feedback from your guitar amp or from the mics ringing when you have your monitor's on?

Yes, what's feeding back ?

Guitar amp ? -> Gate it .

Mics ? -> Turn off your monitors while recording .
