amp farm and sonar 2.0

To my knowledge, Amp Farm only works on ProTools TDM systems. You may consider just picking up a POD. You can run it as outboard gear through an effects loop and achive essentially the same result. Of cours, POD doesn't have quite as many amp models as Amp Farm does, but you can't take Amp Farm on stage with you for a live rig either. Not to mention the fact that Amp Farm is twice the price!

If you have the full version of Sonar 2.0XL you have AmpSim. It is a lite version of AmpFarm. But like ninja said. A POD is a pretty wise choice also. I have owned one for year's and love it. Dont' use a live rig any more at all.

Amp Farm only works on Pro Tools. II have IK Amplitube which is decent but I also have a POD and I mainly use that with extra pedals and plugins if necessary. PODXT is nice too.

Thanks For yourhelp....I think I will just put my Mesa in record mode...or get a pod pro and go optical insert.....got to love the new digital days.......Thanks Again

i also on a POD. but i dont know what the optical port is. my br-8 has an optical out, also. what is this?
