I got the second season of SNL on DVD, so we sat around and watched it for most of the afternoon.

I worked the day-job until 4pm,(volunteered) then after a roast beast, I went into the studio where I photographed everything, and turned them into customized icons for tracks in Sonar... a last minute gift for the band . Then I set up a template for recording tonights rehearsal . I find ittle things like this go a long way in keeping everyone focused and inspired .

Nice, peaceful evening .

Monday afternoon with my family, Monday night with my wife and kids, Tuesday afternoon with her family, Tuesday night with the wife and kids. Too much food, too much Champagne and beer...too much of everything I had any of... :-)

Vintage stuff! Refresh my memory as to some of the classic skits from that season.

We watched the first three shows. My wife remarked that watching SNL is like watching baseball - you have to sit through a few innings before you see a home run...

The second season was when Chevy Chase left and Bill Murray came in. The running gag was that Chase phoned in his part from his "hospital bed." One of the highlights was Belushi doing a duet with Joe Cocker (John did a better Cocker than Joe himself, of course.) Too bad the sound man had Belushi's mic turned off for most of it.

John Belushi...and all time classic that will never be duplicated. Even his brother Jim, I feel came into his own as an actor, some great movies and TV shows...after he got out from under the shadow of John I feel he did some great stuff.

The Principal rocked...his sitcom with, ::sigh::, Courtney Thorne Smith is funny as hell too...

Helped my mother finish some last minute cooking and preparations. Headed over to my paternal grandmothers house and celebrated christmas there (along with my sister and mother). Then we moseyed on down to my maternal grandparent's house to celebrate with my mothers side of the family. Lots of food. Lots of fun. I don't know, I'm just a huge christmas fan.

Just hung out here with the fam and a few friends. Tunas godfather stopped in for awhile and we listened to an old friends CD from a few years ago. Then to some our jams from 30 years ago. Good for a few laughs. And of course my oldest son was here for the day. He's finally getting his **** together and has a steady job. That was the best present of all really for me. Just having him here with his brothers. I wish their other bro could have been here as well, then it would have been the best Xmas.

While I'm not happy with the SPAM-ness of the post, it was really good to see that picture of me playing snow football with my boys again!

Looks like this guy has hit a couple of old threads...

This year I am off from any family obligation!

The whole family will be in Florida this year. But, I still have work here in Philly.

So, it's just me and the wife. For a nice peaceful Christmas! I haven't had one of these in so long, I don't know what we are going to do.

But, what ever it's going to be, it will just be the two of us doing it.

Going to be a good Christmas!

Nothing like a little spam to get us in the holiday spirit! Christmas is one big religiously legitimized spam-fest anyway.

Ya know, it is funny. That pick Jim was the first thing I saw as well.

And ya Rob, I'm thinking this X-Mass might just be a mellow one here as well. Maybe have Tuna godfather and a few ot Rays friends over for a jam.
