but when listening to music very loud, don't put your plate of dinner on the speaker. it has the tendency to fall off and shatter.

I learned that one by putting my beer on my bass cab.

It didn't last long.

We all wept.

One study suggested that 40 Hz (+/- 5 Hz) is the resonant frequency of most Top Ramen/water mixtures, and many varieties of Hamburger Helper are prone to sympathy around 75-80 Hz.

In another study, basic Kraft Macaroni and Cheese exhibited noticeable reactive properties when exposed to operatic vocalists' levels above 86 dB SPL.

I have a cheeseburger wedged in my living room subwoofer, with a Yanni CD playing. I'll keep you posted.

Yanni does rock. A lot of traditional Greek music is in 7/8, and his arrangements are compelling. He hires only the finest players as well.

What you might not know is he started in a band called Chameleon www.geocities.com/chameleeon.geo/chameleon.htm here in the late 70's. I had the pleasure of playing a few shows in my band with Chameleon and Yanni. At the time he and I had the two biggest synth rigs in the area. I am still friends with the ex lead singer Dugan McNeill www.myspace.com/duganmcneill (and no that isn't what he looks like these days) who went on to back Yanni on a couple albums and finally settled back here and now is co-owner of a local studio called Cherry Lane Studios in Minneapolis. In those days Dugan was the primary writer and Yanni soon started writing more. That was the eventual demise of Chameleon as Yanni's head grew a bit large for awhile. Charlie Adams who was the influence that formed the band is now drumming in some odd country jazz weird project.

Charlie Adams lives in my town, teached lessons to a friend of mine too, i've got an autographed poster from when he did a drum clinic at school....he played right along with Live at the acropolis. good stuff for sure....we jokingly refer to him as ted danson.

Did ya dig the hair in those pictures though? Dugan doesn't even really have any hair left really. But Yanni I'm sure is still dying his pitch black. And what about that mustache on Yanni, that was killer.

WYD, I was gonna say Adams is now in your neighborhood. I had a few mp3's of that project and can't find them or I woulda put up a tune or two.
