nuendo 4!!

hello guy..i am using nuendo 4 and its awesome.i have a question for you pros..i want to record my guitar amp ok?but i want to use 3 mics...i should recordem in 3 seperate tracks and mix them together later or is there some king o trick in the connections to mix them manually from the mixer or from the connections in nuendo and it will be recording 3 mics(3 inputs)in one mono track..is there a way to do that?and whats is best to do?

ya want to record them as three separate mono tracks, then "mixdown" to one stereo track later.

Three at once?
I'd be careful on any lag or phase issues from the mics being different distances from the cab.
Neundo is mucho powerful, so depending on your PC's capabilities you might keep the as separate tracks until the final mixdown.

I know many here use just two mics on guitar cabs. One right up at the cone (mostly dynamics), and then a condenser set back a little.
Why three?

AS TC stated you will want to make sure and phase align the mics. I have done up to 4 mics on a single guitar cab and it can work. But you cannot just place them at random places. you will need to listen carefully as you add each mic and make certain they to do not cancel each other out or cause any phase issues.

i know..in a pro studio i used 4 in a mesa boogie triple rectifier and it sounded like lamb of god playing in this room...lol
i know i need to be carefull with the placements but i didint know for sure if i must recordem seperatly or all in one track
