Okay. I am having all sorts of problems. I work in radio and I just bought a bunch of production equipment for my house. My problem is that I can't get any of it to work at the same time. No one at my radio station knows how to do it which is a problem in itself. basically I bought a behringer 1204 usb, minidisc player, i have a stereo for my speakers, a mic and a laptop with adobe audition on it.... i can get one thing to work and then the thing i hooked up before that stops working. Someone needs to walk me through everything step by step so everything works, rec, playback everything!

Nov 19, 2007 09:44 pm OK, I'm gonna guess since you really don't give a good description here. The mixer is simply a UB 1204. And by USB you mean you are using the piece of junk UCA200 or whatever Berry sends along as an interface.
It would be good to know what your laptop is, model, processor speed, amount of ram and USB type, 1.0 or 2.0.
What type of mic.
And exactly what do you have hooked to what to start out with.
By guess is that the blame lies with the UCA200 USB interface. Odds are really good you did not get the drivers set up properly or they are simply not selected in Audition properly.
Let us know the answers to the above stuff and we will try and get you going.

Nov 21, 2007 12:26 am The Behringer interface is hit and miss. I got it to run most of the time. It should show up as USB Audio Codec. What are you trying to do??
