Feb 02, 2003 07:46 pm maybe the levels aren't up high enough on the soundcard. check the volume on the line in and then on the output as well.
trace the signal and check the levels at every point along the way. it's the only way to be sure.
Cubase/Audigy Input Volume

I've got my keyboard running into my input on my Audigy. With my keyboard turned all the way up and my mixer setting all the way up in Cubase, I get enough volume to record. When I go to playback, it goes down about half in volume. Any ideas on why or suggestions for boosting the signal? I'm thinking that going into a mixer first would solve this. Maybe I've answered my own question...haha.
