So I'm laying two metronome traks down Let's say one is at 74 bps. How would I double this? I know this sounds like a dumb question. BUT, if you double it to 148, the beats don't line up.
I was just wondering if maybe it needs to be quartered or dropped a few beats to pan out. You tell me.

Oct 11, 2007 11:16 am Sounds like some sort of clock syncronization problem. 148 bpm is exactly twice as fast as 74 bpm. Any difference would be due to some sort of flaw in the metronome or a loss of syncronization between the metronome and the system clock (or whatever clock it uses to sync with).

Oct 11, 2007 06:10 pm I agree with you Tadpui. The deal is the song is at 74 bps. It's easy to keep beat while laying down tracks.
So I use a drum machine to lay down the drum tracks each piece separately and line them up with the 148 bps. It lines everything in the end up.
But the metronome is losing it somewhere around 25-30 seconds into the song. So what Ive decided to do is lay both clicks down, and lay a second 74 beat down, line the second 74 up with the 148, delete the 148 and render to a new track creating a 148 that's in sync.
Are you confused, cause I think I confused myself typing ha ha.
