Line 6 Pod X3 Live: is it too new?

Looks like this comes with quite a few more amp models and the ability to play through two models. Is it too soon to plop down some money on this bad boy or should I take a safer route with the XT Live? Are the effects going to be any higher or lesser quality going from an XT Live to an X3 Live? Thanks.

Story is that people like the X3 stuff better though I'm not sure any major changes were made.

The biggest differences with the X3 are new features though

* 2 amps at once
* XLR input for mics
* Bass Amps
* Vocal PreAmps

None of these are available with the XTL (which I have).

I don't think the XTL is any safer, they are, at core, the same and X3 is newer :)

Yep, X3 is a good bet. Line 6 is not in the habit of releasing junk. They make it work proper before putting it on the market. Then tweak and upgrade when they see fit.
