Eighteen Yellow Roses is the song.

I was thinking maybe the volume of the music needs to come up. I don't know. I don't have the best pc speakers.

Lend me your ears.

Okay. Almost a great song. Keep in mind that I am drunk and should be discredited. :) Your vocals are too forward. The "background", which is everything, because the vocals are so forward, should have their stereo field widened and the volume maybe lessened. More 'verb. But I appreciate the retro sound if that is the goal. In that case I would add some record noise to the whole thing.

Overall, I like the song a lot. But the vocals distract me. I would put them further back in the field.

That is the critique. My opinion however tis that is a good song and is worthy of a Tarantino film easily. :) I want to hear it continue into the next scene.

Yep, I think you have the reverb just about right on the vocal itself. Simply bring the background music up a bit and you should be golden. And don't loose that old school sound you have with it. Whatever you did it is working for that song as it is a bit of an oldie.

Nice choice of song to cover as well. Pretty good rendition of it as well I might add. There are some others here of the age as myself that will dig this tune as well if they hear it. Bobby Darin rocked in those days for sure.
