Well, OJ bit the big one this time. He's under arrest along with his gun toting "golfing buddies", this after he essentially confessed to being the organizer.
I'd wager he goes to the big house this time with 20+ years.
Justice? Maybe....

Sep 16, 2007 02:57 pm 20+ for armed robbery? No way, 2 years at best.

Sep 16, 2007 03:02 pm The detective leading the investigation said 10-20 for felony robbery, and the weapons are an enhancement equal to the underlying offense. Nevada is a tough state what with all the mafia insisting on a safe place to raise their kids.
You're probably closer to reality, though. It will be his first conviction after all, if he's convicted.
Sep 16, 2007 03:14 pm Yeah, first offense, he won't get much, 10-20 is laughable...I mean, seriously, this is America.

Sep 17, 2007 05:45 pm I think the judge might slam him a bit hard. I think he should be made an example of.
Sep 17, 2007 06:52 pm In a clear misstatement, Capt. James Dillon said Friday at a news conference that, because Simpson was involved, police were being extra careful to conduct "a thorough, biased and competent investigation."
I laughed.
Sep 17, 2007 06:58 pm I don't care who you are, that's funny right there
Sep 19, 2007 05:32 am Bye OJ!!!! Get used to the color orange.
If he squirms out of this one then I'm sorry this country has truly seen the saturation point of total morons now being the majority of who is walking around in it.
Sep 19, 2007 11:14 am Bail set at a whopping $125,000, yeah, boy they are really stepping it up for him...
Justice, American style...sheesh...

The case attracted a swarm of media, including Marcia Clark, who unsuccessfully prosecuted Simpson for the 1994 murders and was reporting for "Entertainment Tonight."

Sep 19, 2007 11:17 am If he can produce $125,000 for bail, shouldn't he have given that to the Goldmans? After all, they have a legal claim on his assets.

Naw, OJ has plenty of "friends" that will be happy to bail his *** out. Where's Al Cowlings, the guy that drove the slow Bronco?
No football jokes.

Sep 19, 2007 11:34 am he could get a loan from a bail bondsman for that probably fairly easily... and it might have a 10% cash option...so he could pay $12,500 in cash and be on his merry way.
