Howdy!!

Been a while folks. Well, I FINALLY (after the better (or worse depending on yer take on it ;-) finally got some time to me, to do a Coco song.

This is not the band and indeed, in this regard, things are a little stale just now with our singer departing and my rapidly getting peeved with doing all the "admin"...

Anyways, the song, is over on my MySpace...called "Over"..you can check it out here www.myspace.com/myers1875 ...

All parts me. I didnt get to using the new Vocalist Live 2 on this puppy YET, but will.

First of 9 new songs I just smashed down in a few nights....ohh to have time for MY music again ;-) !

Anyways, awra best amigos.

Adios

Coco

Sounds pretty good, Coco. The guitars may be masking the vocals a bit, perhaps more so in the first half of the tune. The drum panning may be a little extreme for my taste, but their sound is good overall.

I like the song.

coco, old boy, what up man. I'll agree with the guitars kinda covering the vocals. But otherwise, I likes! Couple pitchy spots here and there, but oh well, this song still rocks!

Another great Coco song! Classic Coco guitars and vocals. You have a style all of your own, man!!

The thing I notice the most is how much your voice has improved since your last Coco release, whatever it was. The Les Paul is kick arse as usual.

Good to hear some new stuff. Can't wait to hear some more!

Thats a great new song there Coco, great tone on the guitars, kind of a new sound for you since your last outing solo. Drums sound great what are you using for them? Can't wait to hear more and also your new vocal processor!

Oh ya baby. Now you've gone an done it. Nice sounding tune, and I'm damn glad to hear your voice singing once again. To me that is what makes yer songs sound the way they do. Nothin against yer old vocalist but you just have a voice that fits that music. A lot more power in it if I were to describe it!

I also agree that you have a sound all yer own bud. Nothing else out there that sounds like you. Still lovin that guitar tone as well. For a rough mix this doesn't sound half bad at all my friend.

Yer gonna make me work to hear this one in the car aren't ya?

And check yer invites, sent ya a request.

As with the rest, I canny wait ta hear more of the new stuff!!!!!!

Hey Guys

Cheers for the feedback - just back from a cheeky wee weeks holiday hence no replies...

Lonnie - this is pretty much it - time for me to make some music again and maannnn, its goood to get the time!! Cheers for the listen and the kudos man.

Herb - aye, twas going for the sinking the vocals in the song a bit but aye, the actual vocals were done "one take" and I reckon I didnt get right into the auld blasting the vocals til verse 2...however, a more finalised (with the vocal processor on) take is coming soonish...cheers also for yer listen and feedback - appreciated matey.

Coolo ma man..good to hear from ya too. Tricks is good here...how it be over in Chicago for you amigo?? Indeed, a few pitchy spots yer right...gonna retake it tho so hopefully, resolve (and sneak some vocal harmonies on to sneak the wee cheeky hardish parts for ma voice ;-)! Cheers again man...good to hear from ya mucka.

Hey Jim my man...good to hear from ya as well...been a while since we last had a wee conflab. In terms of vocals, I have learned (the hard way) its best to sing in the keys you can sing in and move positionally around the fretboard rather than moving keys for the sake of it and sounding woeful (this I did learn the hard way tho ;-) - cheers for the comments matey tho and ah hopes all is well with yerself and the Cutaways my man.

Dan - also good to hear from you as well amigo and cheers for yer comments and feedback always. Aye, I reverted back to my most favoured 2 patches on the VAMP (sodd mic'in the big fat Marshall - too loud!) and I do love that tone too...some delay on the solo and viola, Im sorted in ma own wee guitar heaven again...glad ye like it too. Ive done a wee (off beat) acoustic version with just me, the vocal processor and an acoustic guitar and it works OK - still to get it into the the electric version but I will...drums, pretty much from the pack of samples I got from Beta Monkey,..man those loops kick *** - sound great and need minimal work to make em fit...all good man!

And finally ma man Noize - good to hear from ya bud. Indeed, I reckons I am loving having time and space to record my songs, my way and to be honest - this is always the best way when you know what ye want. Bands are fine but when you just know how you want something to sound, you sometimes need to go it alone again ;-) ! Joyous it is too to have some free time to do it. Request is approved my friend and aye, do let me know how the car stereo test goes....I reckon when songs can pass this test, they are (maybe not scientifically but at least, close) "there" ;-) ... good to speak to you man, and aye, glad ye liked it.

Amigos - to you all - cheers for yer time and feedback and listens...its all muchos appreciatedo from Coco here - gonna try to get ma butt back online a bit more as and when time permits...tis good to kick back at good auld HRC!!!

Take it easy amigos.

Have you been taking elocution lessons Coco? :)

Anyway ..

Another typical fine effort.

Like all of you're Music this has an honest, down to earth, raw rock feel about it.

Can't really add much more than what has already been said.

Good to hear something from you after all this time.

Oh and well done getting up against Celtic Yesterday!
