Is there any plug-ins or add-ons that would allow you to plug drum trigger pads into a firewire interface, and assign them a drum sound and then record them...

if not there should be lol....

i'm a computer programmer... if there is no such thing, i should make one, and sale it and make millions lol.... eliminating the drum brain all together!

yeah if your drum 'brain' has midi out, then that'll do it.

The Roland TMC-6 is a trigger to midi converter. Alesis also has the Alesis Trigger I/O which is on sale at zZounds for like $149.00. It has ten inputs and works great. Easy set up with it as well.
