If I've got a condensor mic plugged in to a mixer on Phantom power, can I plug a dynamic mic into the same board, even though it will have 48V running through it?

yep, i do it all the time.

phantom doesn't affect dynamic mics.

don't try this with a ribbon mic though, it'll fry them, i've heard.

Yep, it'll fry that sucker like a human brain after a burning man festival.

WYD, ya they have a really nice full and smooth sound. Nothing really over the top, just that simple smooth sound to them. The Karma K6 I just picked up is pretty nice in that realm. Haven't gotten to really work it over yet, just a few bit here and there, but so far I am comparing it to some Ribbons that cost about 6 times what the K6 did.
