Aug 23, 2007 07:44 am Beaker was a guest judge on "America's Got Talent" TV show which is yet another cheap rip off of American Idol and the like...
It sucks so bad one of the real judges in David Hasslehoff...and he did a "special performance" on the finale...big whoop...another judge was Sharon Osbourne, tho, who, for some reason, arouses me...
One of the finalists was a ventriloquist and Kermit the Frog came out and did a skit with him, then in the judges chairs were Animal, Beaker and the Swedish Chef...pretty funny.
Aug 23, 2007 07:45 am haha! I'll have to dig out that episode.

Aug 23, 2007 05:57 pm I saw one guy that I agree wit completely. He picked up a CAD Equitek E100 for $150.00. And he loves it on guitar cabs and everything. Stated it will record a jet engine as well.
I own one and wish I had two. The first ones were built bullet proof and yes, they had high enough SPL that you could actually record a jet engine close up. I use it on ultra heavy guitar. And it is a nice vocal mic as well when you want to rid that ratty high end out of a bad vocalist. Smooth as silk really.
Cool thread WYD.
