Hi there. I've recorded a few demo tracks and I'd like to put them on a demo CD. My problem is that some songs are a lot louder than the others and I'm just wondering if there's free cd-burning programs out there that can normalise the volume of the songs/make all the songs loud enough?
Thanks.

Aug 11, 2007 11:35 pm I don't recall at the moment, but I think my son has used Windows Media Player to burn a CD of un even tracks and it normalized them. I would take a look there and see if it has an option for that.
Otherwise have a look here, Google is your friend.

Aug 12, 2007 06:57 am Sounds like someone needs some mastering, i'm massively surprised someone has mentioned har-bal. Astonished actually.
Anyway, yeah, mastering is where you get all your levels to match, tracks EQ'd so the songs sound good on a variety of systems, all that stuff.
