I am looking for a decent pair of headsets for field recording.

Aug 08, 2007 02:39 am go for 'closed back' or 'isolation' style headphones....these will help keep outside sound getting in and will let you hear what you're recording better...
how much are you willing to spend?

Aug 15, 2007 08:33 pm Ultrasone S-Logic are good. I love them. They isolate sound and your tracks surround you VS sounding like they are pressed against each ear. I can hear every kick, snare, crackle, mistake, or distant sound in my track, without hearing everything going on around me. It's pretty cool. Check and see if your local pro audio store has any on display for you to test out. You just might like them.
