A bit too futuristic for me.
Aug 06, 2007 06:48 pm ******* sick aye. Uses infrared under the table to read different 'stamps' on the blocks that represent different components. I think Bjork used one on her last tour.

Aug 06, 2007 09:34 pm Yes she did. An I want one of them things. If you have ever messed about with SynthEdit you can create a lot of the same things. It takes a good deal of work and a truck load of synth knowledge but it is a blast building them.
Aug 06, 2007 11:54 pm If you buy one noize I'll fly to your house just to see it lol.
Btw, is synth edit like indiviidual electronic components and schematics? Or more like blocks of LFO, tone stacks etc.?

Aug 07, 2007 05:29 pm SynthEdit is completely separate componant's. You can build with some blocks type stuff but you mostly wire your own arrangement of what you want.
I know you are thinking of synths like the Tassman or the like which do build up priomarily by using blocks. But Tassman does have a deep edit feature as well. It is tough to get to and even tougher to comprehend. SynthEdit it also very deep but can be done with a few of their tutorials. And their are thousands of mods that were designed and added into the collective by outside and third party developer's which can help streamline things a little bit.
