Guitar Input only playing on left side

I just got the Tascam DP-01 a few weeks, been tooling around with it but suddenly last night when I booted , any guitars or mics on "input A" would only register on the display as being on the left output only. After turning input A's volume knob all the way up did the right meter twitch a tiny bit. This is the first time this has happened, I tried rebooting and switched cables and guitars, still only showing all input being output on solely the left side. Any ideas?

What software are you using to record with. IT may have gotten switched to record in mono. When you use the single input it will of course only input to one channel. But you can monitor on both left and right even though it is still only a mono input signal.
