Do you know where can I find any real drums samples to use in my fruity loops? I have been looking for for a while now and have found nothing good. Maybe you can help me.
Another thing, how can I create my own sample? How to put the sound of my own drum on FL? How do I prepare the wave? I have no clue on how to do these.
Thaks again!

Jan 21, 2003 01:21 pm I know there are plenty of good samples out there for free, but I became very tired of looking around for them. I ended up buying a CD of very good quality samples from www.2dcd.com. It cost me $99, but was well worth it.
As for creating your own samples, the process is pretty simple. Once you have a good quality wav file of your sample, just copy it into the "Samples" folder that's within the Fruity Loops folder. Then your samples will appear in the list. Nothing to it.
Jan 21, 2003 01:29 pm As far as samples go, PowerFX has the best. They make CD's of instrument loops, many of them have each drum played individually after word that is easy to dice up and use as well.

I use them a lot, they are about $100 a piece as well and well worth it. Not to mention the fact they are the coolest sponsors a website could have :-)

Jan 22, 2003 09:12 pm I will double up on dB's praise of Power FX. We are using them for stuff in the movie we are scoring. And I have been using them since dB found them and Sonar and CakeWalk put them on their sample's list. I love all their stuff, and fut it up their with Big Fish, Ilio, and some of the other's that have been around for year's. They are getting bigger library's everyday. So go check them out, and make sure you click through the link on the home page here.

Jan 23, 2003 11:55 am check out my feature on free stuff for various free loops and kits - the 'ns kit' one is especially good!
Mar 16, 2012 08:18 am This is some sort of record, some dude figured he'd resurrect a 9 YEAR OLD thread to promote with web site.
Congrats, oh dead thread resurrecting king of the world.

Mar 16, 2012 10:36 am In the coincidental event that someone happens across this thread via google search...
www.freesound.org is the best free sample site I have tried.
Then again...would a stray googler even be able to tell that I"m not a spambot myself?

Jun 04, 2012 06:08 am Audiobase.com has some sweet loops. Some are in production packs, some are straight up loop bundles.
