I have not tried their drum mic kit. But am reviewing a pair of their $5.00 K-Micro condenser mic's and if their drum mic's ar anything like these little bugger then I would be guessing that is a decent mic kit for the $99.00 price tag.

Shure PG series is alright, I used them a while ago. They sound alright, I particularly like the condensers that come with the package. You might be able to find a set for your price range on Ebay. Never heard of those Karma audio ones, but it seems like theyre getting good reviews around here. And a $100 bucks is hard to pass up. Good luck.

Yep, Karma are pretty new here in the states. They have been making mikes for a while now, mostly in China and I have been more then impressed with their quality. Pretty bullet proof little buggers.

China has been coming out with some great prodcuts for cheap. sE Electronics makes awesome stuff for little money. Check those guys out too.

Absolutely. China has caught up to the technology age and their production ability allows for the cheap assembly. They know how to automate things and get it done much cheaper.

I have tried a few Studio Electronics mic's and indeed was impressed. They are not quite as low priced as the Karma stuff though very close.
