Uploaded a new song (Not mine, just recorded/mixed/premastered it and am getting ready to digitally release it)
Tell me whatcha think. I don't personally love the bands song, but what do you think that I can do to improve it? I know theres a little EQ notching I need to do, but I dont have the lyrics yet for it.
Im a little puzzled on what to do with the ending, any ideas?

May 02, 2007 06:37 pm that phaser is a bit much, but i bet it's on the raw track....ummm other than that, it sounds like a good punk sound to me, the drums are a bit loose at times...
as for the ending, try choking the cymbal swell to match the last part of the guitar...i'm hearin' a quick tight stop at the end.

May 02, 2007 10:13 pm Personally to my ear the phaser sounded just right, enough to make a BIG contrast along with a unique sound (being panned and all).
I faded the end of the cymbal, like I said I'm still trying to figure things out so that was just a quick cut.
The drums are loose I think because of phase issues, I don't have any preamps right now and mixed the drums down to a single track (Don't quite have the setup right now that I want...) so I'm limited there. I might have him come and redo the drums so that I can separately record each track (I can now :) ) because if you noticed I manufactured some of the beats in there because he played too much in a few places... hahaha
