I'm not able to decide between Samsong c1 and akg c1000 or c2000, if anybody knows something about the quality of those mics please tell me about!!
You know akg mics are much more expensive...but the difference is really so big?!
Thanx a lot everybody!!

Jan 16, 2003 05:01 pm The Samson C1 is a lower qaulity version of the C1000 from AKG. The AKD has the ability to switch cardiod to hypercardiod pickup pattern. The Samson is not a mic I would recomend for serious use, but it will do on a budget. If you have not taken a look at Oktava product's yet you really should. They have a model MK012 that would do the trick nicely, and is a very comparable mic to the AKG. I personally prefer it's sound. Musician's friend has the MK012K with a multiple capsule set up which give's it the ability to be 3 differant mic's wiht just the switching of the capsule. That is a good idea on a budget, and make's the mic much more veratile.

Jan 17, 2003 12:25 pm Thank you very much mr Noize2u!
After my long investigation I chose the Rode nt1.
It's a little more expensive but I think it's probably the more versatile on a budget.
Do you think it's a good choice?
Thanxalot Filippo

Jan 20, 2003 09:46 pm Yes, that is a good choice for a nice clean sound. Not as warm as the other's, but a very true sound to be had from that one yes.
