Hi! I purchased an old mixer from TEAC-TASCAM, the MODEL 3. It was the third mixer built from the beginning of the 'mixer world'. I got only photos from the net, nothing about 'manual' or some 'tech info'. If someone can supply me info about this MIXER: manual or some techinfo, I would be very glad. My mail is : [email protected]

ante, sorry for the delay getting to this post. I'll take a little time in a day or two and see what I can dig up. That is an old mixer so odds are good there won't be much out there.

If you have any links to photo's of it that will help a great deal. I can identify it by sight and give you some info that way if there are any available.

Hi ! Model 3 has many, many inputs & outputs (RCA & 1/4 jacks) at rear end. It is a monster-hard to die-I think that is in a good condition, but I can not 'hit the black' with the conections. I live in CHILE, far away from all. If you can help me, please. I would thank you forever...

OK, I can tell you this much from the pix I managed to find. It is an old 8 channel 4 buss mixer that was originally built to be used with the Teac-Tascam 4 track tape machines. Unless you got it for an extremely low price it is not the best piece of gear out there. They were inherently noisey because of the RCA connections not being very high grade. That said the mic pre amps are pretty fair on the unit.

Your input choices will be obvious and will accommodate only XLR for mic or RCA connections. from what I can tell. You will have several output choices you can use, direct out from the channel. One of the 4 sub outputs which you sill select on a per channel basis with the switches on each channel strip. And the main outputs which again are selectable from each channel strip.

Not a lot more I can tell you about this mixer other then it has EQ on each channel and the ability to route signal in several various ways.
