If that's sloppy guitar work then I might as well throw my new G&L ASAT Tribute on the burn pile! That's good stuff!

Your guitar sounds great! Are you using the Guitar Port for all of your sounds? Your Les Paul really screams! Drums sound as real as anything...nice work on those.

Between the two songs I like the first one better, but since you admit that the second one was designed to have vocals, it's no surprise.

All in all, very unique and interesting arrangements. Nice job!

jimdubbs, I remember you now. I listened to one of ryour tunes before on AcidPlanet. Man oh man, indeed I agree with Jim, I would not call that sloppy guitar playing at all. A couple little tiny slips that no one but the astute will notice as they sound like the belong there really. The bass and drums are mixed in very well if you ask me. I do love the tone you are getting for sure, the harmony parts are excellent for sure. I like both tunes and can't really pick a favorite out of these two. I like the semi-clean guitar tone in Polarize though, its a nice break in the action and brings some drama to the song. I guess if I were to want to see a change it would want to see a change I would like to hear the bass punched up a little on Polarize, it is kind of melted in at times with the rest of the tone.

Other then that both pieces are great, good song writing and arranging on them.
