Mar 15, 2007 05:35 pm nah it's just that they have very little usability in all reality. uyou pretty much get one swing with a weapon such as an aze, whereas a short sword will give me 3 swings to your one, plus the advantage of having a shield in case I misplace a sword block. We refer to stuff like giant warhammers and axes as "flavah". Since, they look impressive, and add flavor to the combat, but in practicallity they're pretty useless since a good sword and shield or even florentine "two swords in the style of florence" fighter will tear you up. That said, they are fun to knock some poor fool down with while you're drunk and swinging for the legs.
Mar 15, 2007 05:37 pm and tall chap - Yeah the adat would rock if I had a mixer big enough to utilize it and the heads were aligh. It was an impulse buy that just looks cool sittin there.
