Mar 13, 2007 12:40 pm I would say $500 of less.
We play Death Metal, so I don't know if that will matter much. Just need it for vocals and maybe playing drum track though.

Mar 13, 2007 02:05 pm Yeah the squire looks ok,if poss get one with line out sockets then you could add a power amp and bass cabs later for gigs.
Mar 13, 2007 02:50 pm Another bargain,if you place the speakers facing you the vol can go up without feedback, should be enough,if not back line can come down:)
Mar 13, 2007 04:30 pm i would say angle the speakers more than face u, cuz thats exactly when feedback happens lol
but ya that a good deal the second one u posed, i was gonna suggest yourkville pa system, its wut i use and im extrememly pleased with it ;)
had it for many years now
Mar 13, 2007 05:17 pm Ok,but the correct position of a monitor/speaker to reduce feedback for a mike is to follow an imaginary line from the angle of the mike on a stand to the point it meets the floor or wall and have the centre of the speaker at right angles to the line facing the base of the mike:) If you doubt this try holding the mike, turn up amp till it just feeds back then move the mike around to find how to stop it,it wont take long:)

Mar 13, 2007 10:43 pm I bought the PA that I posted that I found on Craigslist. I really think it is going to do us perfect.
We do not have a drummer and will be playing the drum tracks through the PA along with the vocals.
Thank you for everyones input!!!
